Day 45- Valentine's Day date night!

I'm thrilled that my sweet husband got my fab sister to watch Brant while we went out and enjoyed a date night out on Valentine's Day.  We each had a wonderful steak and yummy bread and enjoyed some alone time.  It was a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Days 41-44- SNOW and LOTS of it!

I still can't believe that the weather forcast showed the temperature dropping and the possiblitity of snow the middle to the end of the week and they had no idea how much we would actually get.  We had RECORD BREAKING SNOW here in my part of Texas 13.5 inches of snow is quite a bit and we broke the record.  It was so much fun having the snow, except the part where we had trouble getting into the garage due to poor traction in the large amounts of snow our cars are not equipped to deal with.  Our wonderful neighbor came over and helped both my husband and I shovel a path for our vehicles to get into the garage and that was just so sweet of her.  Brant had a blast and made his first snow angels since there has never really been enough snow to make an effective one for him.  He had fun pouncing through the snow and sinking into it.  We all had a blast making a snowman together and just enjoying the rare snow.  It took quite a while to melt off since we had so much of it, but we enjoyed the time it was here and are glad that we don't have to deal with it on a regular basis.  Here are some pictures of our snow fun!

Day 39 and 40- Icing Cookies

Daddy got some yummy icing cookies and they have been the highlight of Brant's days eating them.  Here are two pictures of him enjoying them.

 

 

Day 38- Yep out to eat again!

We went out to eat at Double Dave's for lunch today and Brant really enjoyed the pizza and dessert pizza that we had while he watched Superhero Squad on television even though there was no sound he still enjoyed it.  Here is a picture of my little man enjoying his lunch!

Day 37- All better, and out to eat!

Yay, we were glad to see that Brant was feeling much better and hadn't been running a fever for 24 hours so we took him out for lunch.  His favorite part of course was the chips and queso at Frescos, the Mexican Resturant we went to.  Here is a picture of him and the nachos!

Day 36-Sick and sleepy

Today I got a call from Brant's pre-school saying he was throwing up and I needed to come get him.  I couldn't get out of work right away so my Dad was my super-hero and he picked up my carseat for Brant and picked him up and took him to my house to take care of him.  He didn't throw up anyomore and we think it was just allergies since it seemed to be mucus he was throwing up and he seemed to be all better by the time I got home, but Science Night the night before and all the throwing up wore him out and he was out like a light early tonight and I had to get a picture of my sweet little sleeper.

Day 35- Blow-up Canyon!

Tonight was Science Night at the school where I work, and I took Brant to get to explore the blow-up canyon, and see the Egg Drop and Sailboat races.  Brant had a blast and was enjoying all the fun things to see, the sweet lady in charge of the canyon even let Brant up onto the canyon to make the waterfall go up and down when others had to walk around and through and he thought that was really cool.  I'm also thrilled to say that two of my students won the Egg Drop competition and I was so very proud of them, even though I'm not their Science teacher.
